Original Item: Only One Available. This is a 18th Century Continental European (likely Belgian) double barreled side by side flintlock pistol with all iron mounts. Due to its small size it would be considered an Overcoat Pocket pistol or a "belly gun". The pistol is fitted with 3.5" slightly tapered .375" caliber smooth bore barrels. It features an iron butt cap with engraved trigger guard and a similarly decorated barrel tops. The pistol retains its original iron ramrod.
Both locks function correctly, holding at half cock, and firing at full. The stock has a few areas of minor repair but overall its in great solid shape and totally original.
Well preserved, from a great Collection of flintlock pistols recently acquired by IMA. Ready to display!
